At the outset, I would like to extend my thanks and appreciation to everyone who visits our website, on behalf of the Deanship and the College Council, we thank and welcome them the most beautiful welcome for visiting our official website so that they can reach through it the necessary information about our college, its scientific departments, divisions and administrative units, and its cadres of professors and employees, and they may also be informed through it of the scientific events and activities carried out by the college from conferences, seminars, scientific seminars and academic workshops.
Hence, we would like to mention that our college has the capacity of its buildings and departments, the large number of scientific titles and specializations in various fields in Islamic sciences, and its scientific status and its emergence at the level of the region and Iraq, a large number of students from various parts of Kurdistan tend to it as a prominent scientific center to benefit from its pure sweet helper, where there are professors and well-known scientific figures who carry moderate ideas derived from the Qur’an and Sunnah with a correct understanding through the mujtahids of the nation from the doctrines of Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama’ah to serve Islam, Muslims and the homeland, and society as a whole. Based on this, the college has taken care of the curricula of its departments to raise a good generation that knows Islam and belongs to it and to the homeland to serve its people, religion and society, believing in peace, coexistence, respect and appreciation of others in all of this away from the extremes of excess and negligence, and thus the college has combined originality and modernity in its curriculum, thinking and education for the new generation of preachers, preachers and teachers, in order to preserve Religion, homeland, people and the noble values of society. Our Vision
Therefore, it is keen to prepare a moderate scientific generation that understands religion and the texts of the Qur’an and Sunnah by reviewing the approved sources and references of scholars and jurists considered from Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama’ah capable of dialogue, analysis and criticism away from extremism and extremism, and it is also aware that it must refute the suspicions raised about the Qur’an and Sunnah and issues related to the rights of women and non-Muslims in the Islamic community. To achieve this purpose by taking care of the prescribed curriculum and carrying out scientific activities aimed at achieving these honorable purposes and objectives. The college may keep in mind the future of its graduates, hence taking into account in its curricula the preparation of young people who find opportunities in society to work to live from its fruits and shades, where the graduate of our college is an intellectual with information useful to him in various fields other than his knowledge of Islamic law. .
Our Mission
The college has a great message of interest to all segments of society, as it is interested in preparing a generation that preserves great and noble values in a time when the world has become smaller than a village, where cultures mix, and from here we need to pay attention to our history, heritage and high values. In order to communicate this message, the college is keen on its scientific level, continuing education, expansion in its departments, scientific activities and specializations in postgraduate studies, and adherence to what offers its degrees and level among colleges inside and outside the university in order to keep pace with the continuous scientific development in all fields. In order to achieve its objectives, the college has built extensive relations with departments and scientific centers in the region and the governorates of Iraq to serve its professors and students, especially in the field of graduate studies. .
Our History
Our college was established at Salahaddin University – Erbil in 2002-2003 as the College of Islamic Sciences, and it included three departments with names: the Department of Sharia, the Department of Islamic Studies, and the Department of Fundamentals of Religion, and now the departments are four with these titles: The Department of Sharia, the Department of Islamic Studies, the Department of Religious Education, and the Department of Public Speaking and Religious Media, and master’s and doctoral degrees are widely taught in all departments, and thousands of male and female students have graduated from our college working in the teaching corps and in the function of imamate and rhetoric in various parts of Kurdistan. Also, large numbers of professors and students of the college have held scientific, administrative, governmental and parliamentary positions in the state, and this indicates the scientific level of the college and its professors and students and their keenness to engage in society and state affairs and serve it. .
